NYU Prof “some new, unexpected solution to...” with no suggestion of “some new, unexpected disaster for which we have no fix” the Dunning-Kruger effect comes to mind when I hear such glowing projections. It doesn’t bother them a bit that they don’t understand the “solution” that these glorified, overfitted statistics suggest. Again, experts were also sure that asbestos offered a wonderful solution to many problems. I’m a scientist myself and love tech, but I see here quite clearly that humans haven’t learned from our past mistakes.

Every argument in defense of automation is wrong. "new jobs creation" is all based on analogies of the industrial revolution, replacing mechanical/physical jobs for new intelectual jobs. They are missing the point that IA replaces all of that. More production doesnt translate into "more quality inspectors", quality inspection will be automated as well(already is). Also the curve of accelerated productivity increase vs stagnated income increase is very clear. Either we rebuild the entire socioeconomical system(maybe based on taxes) to do some form of universal income or working shifts reduction to offset the job destruction. Or mankind is on the verge of a real problem, really soon. Of course corporations eager to reduce cost, or IT giants making this tech, will never tell us this, neither will do lobbists or politicians getting lobbied.

AI is very error prone. one word: *_garbage_* . Nothing beats the accuracy of the human mind and thought and know-how and knowledge. Want proof? Use any translator, or upload a video here and watch the mistakes roll in. We uploaded an entertaining yoga video, and the AI read the thumbnail as "nudity and porn", later we got an email explaining the error. That screw up cost us views, because we had to use a substandard thumbnail for 5 days until the original and very good thumbnail was accepted by the algorithm, *_BUT_* only after human intervention! What's next? We gonna put them in vehicles, and let them fly planes etc etc??? AI can be useful in creation of videos, they are effective at translation! etc, but where human lives can be affected, the obvious answer is *_no_* ! There is a fine balancing line between *_corporate greed and lust for profits_* and common sense! *_Do you really want to be on camera or recorded 24/7 everywhere you go!? It is horrible how many living in China's big cities have accepted this way of life!_*

It is also going to beat me at League of Legends. I Was #1 at Star Craft in 3 divisions simultaneously. Alpha Go is going to beat me at Star Craft too. The US NAVY already has autonomous AI on the battlefield. It's worrisome. That's why in 2021 I command every national ARMY. If certain weapons fall into the wrong hands at this point we won't recover as humanity.
